Lorac Mega Pro 2 Palette Review and Swatches on Deep Skin

LORAC Mega Pro 2 Review!

Outside of the palette

Here's my review and thought on the new Lorac mega Pro Palette 2! It released on October 4th, and Ulta Beauty (in stores and online) and as of now it is currently available. I was able to get my hands on this early because I am a Platinum Member at Ulta (it pays to spend all your money here, ha!)  For starters the packaging is nearly identical to the one from last year (Loarc Mega Pro 1), which I will post comaprison pictures down below. It is also the exact same price as the one from last year as well $59. What some might want to note is that this years product comes with 0.45oz of products whereas last years came with 0.67oz of product.

Here's a quick look at the inside of the palette. It is set up like all of Lorac's Pro Palettes, the top two rows are all matte and the bottom two rows are satin/shimmer/metallic finishes. The formula is also true the lorac pro palettes as well, so it's definitely one of the hate it or love formula. So if you're one to bully eyeshadows you probably wont love this formula. Below is a quick side by side comparison of how this palette compares to the original Mega Pro. As you can see there is only one repeat shade (black) but the Mega Pro 2 is quite LIGHT compared to the orginal Mega Pro.

I know many of you were concerned about how "light" the light shades were and they are pretty light. I've came to the conclusion that the first two columns are all "slight" shades off from one another, and if you're around an NC30 (in MAC references) or lighter you will probably be able to get much use out of the shades, but if you're any deeper in complexion, in my opinion, they're only going to be used for highlight shades. Which if what you want then you certainly have it in this palette!

Overall Thoughts? Is it worth it?

If you're a fan of Lorac's shadows, and you want a good variety of shadow then i definitely say go for it!
