Colourpop Boogie Nights: Electric Slide and Sweet Tooth |
So of course I already ruined it but I do love electric slide. Colourpop's formula is super unique and the best part is that the highlighters are only $8. I wish 3 years ago when I first started getting into makeup that I had a place like colourpop to go to.
Any who let's get on to swatches!
Here are some swatches comparing some of the very bestttt gold highlights in the market. As you can see Electric Slide fit's right it. Once it's on the face you truly can't tell a difference. Honestly you could buy Electric Slide and get away with not owning any of the other shades listed here. Honestly, go get you Electric Slide for $8 and don't you dare spend your money on these others. Yes, I do love them all, but as you'll see in my next blog post on the face it looks identical to MAC's Oh Darling, Laura Geller's Gilded Honey, and Esté Lauder's Heat Wave.
I also did some comparison swatches to other Colourpop highlights that I thought might be similar.
Should you buy?
Duh. Like don't walk. RUN. Run now because once everyone realizes how similar this is and how much of a dupe Electric Slide is, everyone and their mama is gonna be out trying to grab it. On the bright side I do believe it's permanent... maybe. Or at least will be here for a while, so long enough for you to buy one... or two... or THREE!
