Colourpop Haul and Swatches of Birthday Boy Super Shock Shadow

So last week when ColourPop announced they were giving away a free eyeshadow (Birthday Boy) with every purchase (while supplies last) I went ahead and took advantage of it and grabbed one item lol. I picked up Puppy eyeliner, which I had been eyeing since I saw Kathleen use it in a tutorial one time. I also felt the need to complete my collection since I did get Birthday Girl last year, which was the LE shade that they made for their B-Day.

As you can see this years came with a beautiful purple packaging, last years was hot pink. It's much more taupe then Birthday Girl, which had more champagne in it. I have swatch comparisons on my blog if you would like to go see! It also has lots of blue, purple, and silver glitter. Though this shade isn't something I gravitate towards now, if you've been with me for a while then you know taupe USED to be my JAM, so this is definitely a shade I would have rocked a little while ago. Okay ... on to swatches now.

I can't get over how pretty this shade is. Again, it's not something I'd reach for daily, as of now, but it's definitely a beautiful shade. My taupe lovers will die over this. I definitely think it's worth picking up even if you have to do what I did and pay the $5 shipping, it's basically like just purchasing it. $10 for two Colourpop items, which is what you'd pay anyways.
